Charles Moesch

Charles E Moesch Jr. is a realistic artist who uses oil on canvas as his medium. Charles has been sketching and painting since childhood and was influenced by his grandmother. He honed his skills by studying graphic design at Eastern Illinois University. Upon graduation in 1989, he owned and managed M&M Advertising in Glen Ellen, IL where he also acted as the Art Director for the firm. He has explored a variety of subjects and techniques using dramatic lighting to create high contrasts in his artwork.

Charles currently resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife. Charles’ work has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens recently and has shown throughout the Chicagoland area. Among painting, his other hobbies include the culinary arts and home remodeling.
