Diana is an abstract artist who can’t remember when she wasn’t drawing or painting.  She  primarily uses acrylic or mixed medium.  " I love the feel of flowing lines and shapes balanced with color.  I enjoy creating texture to canvas either through application of paint or the addition of other items."

She studied studio and art history at Blackburn College in Carlinville , Illinois and Universidad de las Americas in Mexico .  After graduation in 1972 she worked with Japanese artist Sachio Yamashita she states, "whose encouragement and influence I still appreciate."  Later, she acquired a teaching certificate and am currently teaching art in Dolton, IL.
