Leon J. Williams has been an artist all of his life. He graduated from The
Illinois Institute of Art, previously ray college of Design, where he
studied all facets of art majoring in Communication Design. He also
received a B.A. in Psychology from Chicago State University. He is part
owner of Facade Records, a member of the band Litia=Loe, a disc jockey (DJ
Leebo) with solo projects blazing the horizon. Art and music intertwine
like roe in his life. Spoken word poetry, dog breeding and photography
comprise his other interest.
Oil paint on canvas and works ranging from non-representational to
abstract, are his speciality. Although his work has been described as
avant-garde and eccentric all of it is spiritual in nature. His influences
are his parents, children, traditional African Art, Wassily Kandinsky,
Salvador Dali, Joan Miro, love , New Age and House Music. Future
aspirations consist of owning an art gallery, museum and nightclub.
